A 45-year-old pastor, identified
as Oluwole
Obisanya and another suspect,
named Soji
Oladeyi, have been apprehended
by the
National Drug Law Enforcement
Agency
(NDLEA), in Osogbo, Osun State,
for allegedly
being in possession of 181 bags
of cannabis
sativa, otherwise known as
Indian hemp.
Making this disclosure on Friday,
while
briefing newsmen in Osogbo,
the sector
commander of the agency in the
state,
Anthonia Edeh, said, ��Men of
our command
swooped into action based on
the
information received from
patriotic
Nigerians and arrested the two
suspects in a
three-room apartment where
bags of Indian
hemp were stocked.��
Edeh asserted that ��The 45-
year-old pastor,
Oluwole Obisanya, and one Soji
Oladeyi, aged
27, were apprehended at Ikire,
in Irewole
local government of Osun State
on December
5, with weed that weighed
1,838.4
kilogrammes.��
The NDLEA boss hinted that two
other
suspects, including a woman,
fled when the
agency officers stormed their
base.
