It was with shock that I read the news today of how a ship-load of
toxic wastes was turned back to the UK where it came from.
Is Africa now a dump site?
With latest events, the answer to my question is not far fetched.
Yes it has become one, because the greedy and unscrupulous few have
decided that pleasure and self satisfaction of theirs is enough reason
to jeopardize the life of an entire continent.
Wastes from all over the world now find their resting place in the
impoverished states of Africa.
Even in the presence of widespread education and awareness of the
dangers posed by these materials; greed rather than wisdom still
directs our leaders.
If it is not in Ivory Coast, it will be in Zambia or Nigeria. These
people have continued to do this because INSIDERS are aiding them, yes
Africans are helping to bring these toxic material to their homeland,
why? GREED.
Trafigura is yet to face the full legal accountability for what
happened in Abidjan. The Amnesty International carried out an
investigation into it, what was the out come? They Presented us with
the "Toxic Truth". Now what will an illiterate know about downloading
and accessing an e-book? This is pure deception, yet our so-called
leaders are aloof watching.
Enough is Enough to Western Underdogs and their counterparts, Our
Corrupt Leaders.

IS HOMOSEXUALITY REALLY HARMLESS?
The above question has been bugging my mind for some time now. There
has been outcry in the general society especially in Africa and
particularly in Nigeria against the practice.
Some say it is bad only if you as a person think it so; whereas
majority of Africans see it as a pollution and a deviation from the
right path of life.
I dont want to fold my hands, cool it off as though nothing is
happening. We dont have to do everything that the whiteman DEEMS RIGHT
OR JUSTIFIABLE.

Shalimar woman, 79, has 14 holes-in-one in nearly 60-year golf career
Pat Kelly has achieved what veryfew pro athletes can boast. The
79-year-old woman says she has had 14 holes-in-one in her golf career,
the Northwest Florida Daily News reports.
"It doesn't seem impressive to me since there's a lot of luck
involved," Kelly said recently.
The chances of a hole-in-one are 12,500 to 1, according to Brandon
Moser, the pro at Shalimar Pointe Golf and Country Club. "It's
extremely rare," Moser said. "I've been playing for nine years and
I've only had one. Many other golfers better than I am might not have
any. The odds are against them. It just takes skill and luck."
Kelly, who lives in Shalimar, said she started golfing in 1954 with
her husband. She golfs three times a week on Lady's Tuesdays, Fridays
and date dayson Sundays with her husband. Her latest hole-in-one was
Dec. 16 at Shalimar.
